On this visit, the skies were much clearer, and we got a guided tour inside the lighthouse. the spiral staircase was a work of art. I was also impressed that the antique lens, imported from France in the 1800's was still operating.

Hi Wendy, lovely photos. If you love lighthouses, Sept. 18 is open lighthouse day in Maine. I'm hoping to head on over to the coast and see a few if I can.
