Mt. Washington hotel and mountain range

Saturday, January 30th, we went on a motor tour of the White Mountains. We perused the outlets in N. Conway, dined on the BEST smoked salmon at the Moat and photographed snow sculptures on Black Mountain in Jackson. Luckily we were passing the Mount Washington Hotel just as the sun was setting on the mountain range behind it. Always a beautiful photo op, and such an historic icon of New Hampshire.

  1. Hello Wendy,
Glad I stumbled across your blog today in search of others who paint with acrylics. I live in Norway, ME which is about an hour and a half from North Conway, NH as the crow flys toward the east. We head over that way occasionally. I can see Mt. Washington from many places over here. It's a welcome site as I am coming home from work in the morning, heading west (I am a night nurse in the field of Hospice). Please stop by my blog if you get a chance. Love to meet folks from around western Maine or NH.
